Firenze
Italy is very close to France, hence why I decided to go there last summer. I visited Firenze (Florence), a city located in Tuscany. Let me tell you a bit more about the things I visited and liked.
The first thing I’d like to say is that it’s better to be right in the city centre. Let me show you where I slept.

Museums
I visited 2 museums during my trip. The Leonardo Da Vinci museum, and the Galileo one.
Both museums were really interesting, but the one that I liked the most is the Galileo Museum. I learned a lot of things and saw a lot of weird objects to be honest. But it was fun and if by chance I go back there, I think I would visit it again.
I told you, I saw some weird things… But hey, can you guess what some of these objects are?
Of course, there’s also Le Galerie Uffizi but I think it’s something you need to see for yourself rather than see some photos
Gardens
Bardini
The Bardini Gardens offer a beautiful view on the whole city. You can see the famous Duomo on the following photo.

The Bardini Gardens are not big, but if you like to walk, it is a very relaxing walk to the top of the gardens.
Boboli
The Boboli Gardens are much bigger than the Bardini ones. You at least need half of your day to enjoy these gardens. Boboli is a garden that is a part of the Palazzo Pitti. Be careful while booking your tickets as unfortunately, tickets for the Palazzo Pitti are often sold without the ones for Boboli Gardens. Trust me when I say you would not want to miss it for anything!
Piazza del Duomo
The Piazza del Duomo is one of the most famous places in Firenze. It is a big place where you can visit 6 different monuments and museums. You can visit :
- Il Campanile di Giotto
- Il Duomo
- Il Duomo’s museum
- The crypt
- Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore
- Baptistery
I only visited the Duomo’s museum and the Duomo. If you want my advice, don’t visit the cathedral. The waiting line is really long, and the interior is not that great. If you choose to visit the Duomo, you are going to go there by the cathedral – so you’re going to see it anyway.
The Duomo is really sumptuous and you have an extraordinary view on Firenze. I choose not to show you photos of the Duomo because it is something you ought to see yourself.
I took a picture of the Campanile by night that is really beautiful

Food
And last but not least… the food!
Here are some of the food I ate during my time in Firenze. Everything was really good.

I am going to stop this article by talking about the Limoncello, a famous Italian lemon liquor. I tasted the flavor basil. If you want my advice, taste it. It’s very good.
