Hello guys, I have to admit that I am really excited to talk about Norway. I have waited to do this for a long time but I had to prepare everything I have to say.
So let’s start : I had to go to Norway for 5 months as a student – as an expat- and I had to leave from August to December. My school helped with the housing, so I won’t be able to tell you where to sleep but I slept in AirBnbs during my different trips and they were great!
I went to Lillehammer. It is a small town with few things to do, but you may know this town as the Winter Olympics happened there in 1994.

I have a lot of things to say, so I’ll try to tell you the most important things (in my opinion).
My friends and I went to Stavanger and did a pretty cool hike. It was really difficult as I have exercise asthma and I forgot my medication (who does that, right?) but it was really, really worth it.
I’m sorry I don’t have more photos but my battery died due to cold.
After Stavanger, we went to Bergen, the Troll’s city and it was really fun! We just walked around the city and shopped a bit (a lot) et took pictures of ourselves.
Another really cool trip was my trip to Ålesund. I had such a good time there. We were 8 in the same AirBnb and had so much fun. We went there because there’s a particular spot where you can see Northern Lights. Of course, we did not see any but it was still a really great trip.
Okay okay, the final trip I want to tell you about is probably my best trip – for many reasons. First, only my girl friends came (fun between girls) and it was my first cruise!! We traveled with Hurtigruten.

Weirdly enough, my favorite stop was Bodø’s. I don’t know why exactly, it was small with very few people, but it was so beautiful… Actually, my wallpaper is a photo I took there.
Finally, I thing my best memory of this cruise was the night around 9pm when the Commander told us that we could see Northern Lights if we went outside (which we did) and…

I made many friends during my expat, so it was definitely one of the best experience in my life, and i wanted to share it with you. Feel free to ask me anything if you’d like! 🙂
